 This story takes place in Matane, Quebec. It is early spring, and Marco sets out for a hike with his father in the national park where his father is a forest ranger.  In the course of the  walk, Marco learns a lot about the forest animals and the importance of protecting the environment. Towards the end of the hike, he is in for a very big surprise.
